Elizabeth Matthews, a native of Salt Lake City, Utah, graduated from Brigham Young University in 2006 with a BFA in Painting and an English minor. Over the past decade she has exhibited in numerous shows in a variety of venues in Utah, where she has been recognized for her excellent work.

She currently maintains a studio in West Jordan and when not painting contributes articles to Artists of Utah's monthly publication, 15 Bytes.
